The resort will be designed around water sports and water activities made available to the resort’s guests in a number of ways. Facilities will include three swimming pools. The main pool in the center of the resort boasts a pool bar and extensive decking and sunbathing areas. Close by, a kid’s pool will be available and parents can keep a watchful eye on their children. Set back in the resort, a quiet pool is nestled in the gardens. Guests can explore the nearby emerald waters – snorkeling, kayaking or paddle-boarding at the local beaches.
The marina bed area included in the resort’s landholdings will be sufficient to build at least 5 boat slips for use by the resort. These, together with the boats that will be owned, leased or chartered, will underpin the water sports and water activities as a key feature of the resort. Recognizing that it would be beneficial for the local economy and community, we will consider employing or engaging local businesses or individuals to operate or support some of the water sports and activities and programs. Involving residents of Exuma with their local knowledge will add to the experiences for guests.
The resort’s waterside location with its own boat slips will support boat-based activities such as fishing, water skiing, windsurfing, snorkeling trips and excursions to other nearby locations and islands. Private boat charters can be provided for guest trips to explore the island and other local leisure and hospitality destinations and attractions. Yacht charters provide guests the experience and joys of yachting whilst exploring Exuma’s islands. Bareboat, skippered and fully crewed yachts are all available on Exuma with a wide choice of motor or sail yachts. The annual National Family Islands Regatta is a very popular event held at Elizabeth Harbor, George Town, just a short drive away.
